Kids idea Project
In 2007, during discussions inside Latin America about the construction of IDEA 2010, the idea emerged to create a Kids IDEA Project Towards IDEA 2010. Exhibition Kids IDEA: In December 2007, the Children’s Artistic-Pedagogic Project zunzún, from Cuba, launched the first Kids IDEA initiative: the International Photographic Exhibition about Artistic-Pedagogic Action for Social Transformation, an itinerant, solidarity-based exhibition. The Cultural Association EducArte al Sur of Uruguay embraced the idea! It was created by interested teachers and artists who consider education through art an interactive process for integrated human development, especially for children and adolescents in oppressed contexts.
EducArte al Sur presents the International Photographic Exhibition about Education through the Arts by Children and Adolescents throughout the World – Towards IDEA 2010. It will also be an itinerant exhibition and pass through 8 cities in Uruguay, Bolívia and Chile. The exhibition contains photos from 15 countries (Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa).
